Claudia Torres was born and raised in west Texas but has called San Marcos home since 1996. She holds a BA in Biology and is a certified bilingual Early Childhood/Elementary school teacher with over 30 years of experience in early childhood education. Claudia lives with her husband and two daughters, both of whom graduated from the PPCP.

Christy Lamonde moved to Texas from California in 1999 and eventually settled in Canyon Lake after marrying her husband in 2006. With a BA in Child Development, she has dedicated over 35 years to early childhood education as an educator in early childhood and school-age classrooms. "My goal in working with young children is to provide them with opportunities to become curious, inventive, and creative individuals who love learning and actively participate in the classroom community. I am excited to have the opportunity to teach at the San Marcos preschool, PPCP, which embraces a unique philosophy where parents are actively involved in the hands-on learning process."
